Great code isn't enough. Users care about how your site looks and feels. Here are 3 design principles I'm practicing to make my websites not just functional, but beautiful.
Don't cram everything together. Give your content room to breathe. It makes your site feel cleaner and more professional.
Stick to 2-3 main colors and use them consistently. I use #4a8ab5 (blue) and #1a2a3a (dark blue) as my primary colors. Check out Coolors to generate palettes.
Use readable fonts, good contrast, and proper hierarchy. Bigger headings, smaller body text. It makes your content scannable.
